A DIFFERENT KIND OF HOLIDAY SEASON
A DIFFERENT KIND OF HOLIDAY SEASON
Since RE/MAX EXECUTIVE REALTY opened their offices in 2001, everyone looked forward to the annual holiday party. Usually at a lovely restaurant, they celebrated with an abundance of food, fun and good cheer.

This year, the year of a lot of strife for many, they decided to have a different kind of holiday party and a different kind of holiday season, one full of giving back.
Gary Smith, broker and this year’s president of the Hollywood Rotary Club, challenged everyone to step up their service to the community, and step up they did!
I worked with the Hollywood Hills United Methodist Church and together we sponsored 35 children and their families from Broward Outreach Center (BOC), Susan B Anthony Recovery Center for Women (SBA) and Childnet for three events including: A Night in Bethlehem on 12/5, followed by the 18th Annual Snowfest on 12/6 and finally, on 12/20, a Santa and Pajama party where every child received a gift!
Additionally, Agnes Stalmach and I worked with The City of Hollywood and the Hollywood Council of Civic Associations (HCCA) to put on three foreclosure prevention seminars. Due to the success of those, Agnes and I are scheduling additional seminars in West Hollywood and have meetings with adjoining cities to plan future foreclosure prevention seminars to assist more struggling homeowners.
At the RE/MAX EXECUTIVE REALTY holiday party this year, instead of exchanging gifts with one another at an expensive restaurant, a catered dinner was held at my Hollywood Hills home and all of the agents brought gifts for the families of BOC. Jon and Tutte Greenberg, who recently joined RE/MAX, had this to say: "Thanks for the party; we had a great time. We especially enjoyed taking part in the giving of gifts to the BOC families and the support that RE/MAX Executive Realty gives out to the South Florida community."
To conclude the holiday season of giving, RE/MAX EXECUTIVE REALTY was able to participate in Hollywood’s First Annual Hot Air Balloon Festival! All of the agents jumped on board to participate in this event. Proceeds from RE/MAX EXECUTIVE REALTY’S balloon were donated to Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) which goes locally to Miami Children’s Hospital.
I, the founding partner, stated: “Many people may not know that our agents donate a portion of each commission they earn to CMN and they have since we opened in 2001.”
Everyone agreed that this was the best holiday season ever. A group of people got together to do a bunch of little things that made a big difference, and that was the greatest gift of all!
