The average cost of a garage door replacement is $1,291 and more than 80% is recouped during a resale. Other renovations worth their price tag include a steel entry door replacement with 102.1% cost recouped, a minor kitchen model with 72.8% recouped and replacing wooden windows with 72.4% replacement value.
Big renovations that are worth the investment are master suite additions (52.7% of cost recouped), bathroom additions (53% cost recouped) and a home office remodel (45.8% cost recouped).
